Police Parade Suspects Who Specialises In Manufacturing Fake Lubricants

 Four suspects who specialize in manufacturing fake Automotive lubricants have been arrested by the Rivers State Police command.


The suspects Onyema Ugochukwu,Okiri Godbless, Ogbonna Emmanuel and Okubo-Ebi Ugochukwu were arrested at Abel Jumbo street in Mile two Diobu PortHarcourt City Local Government Area where illegal petroleum products such as grease , engine oil were produced and sold.

Parading the suspects at the scene of crime , Police Public Relations Officer Mr Nnamdi Omoni said men of the state Criminal Investigation Department, CID;  stormed the area following a tip off.


One of the suspects and manager of the illegal company Onyema Ugochukwu from Imo state said they buy lubricants in a very large quantities and sell to unsuspecting retailers. 

He explained the process of making the lubricants .

The suspect however denied involvement in an illegal refining of crude product, adding that the company was legally registered.


Our Correspondent  reports that items recovered at the premises include 12.5kg gas cylinder,One gallon of sulfuric acid  and half bag of bleaching earth chemical.

Rivers State Government Targets Reduction In Gender Based Violence
