Three Fire incidents Rock PortHarcourt Barely twenty four Hours

Another fire outbreak at Nembe /Bonny /Bille jetty in Port Harcourt city Local government area of Rivers State, this comes barely twenty four hours after two fire incidents caused by the storage of illegally refined petroleum

products at D-line axis of Port Harcourt and Rumuokoro destroyed goods and properties worth millions of naira.

Our Correspondent who visited the scene this morning report that the fire outbreak at Nembe /Bonny /Bille Jetty started inside a wooden passenger boat that was loading passengers, goods and petroleum products.

Some of the eyewitnesses and victims who spoke to our correspondent said some of the passengers who were already seated could not escape from the boat.

It was also gathered that many persons had burns, but it is not clear if anyone died.
