Police Reassure Adequate Security As Christians Celebrate Christmas

Rivers State Police Command has reassured residents of the state that adequate security measures have been emplaced to ensure they enjoy a hitch free celebration .

Commissioner of Police Mr.Eboka Friday also remind members of the Public of the ban on the use of fireworks,crackers and knockouts before, during and after the Christmas and New Year Celebrations.

Police Public Relations Officer Grace Iringi-Koko in a statement said the devices are explosives and harmful.

She appealed to the public, parents and guardians to desist from blasting these ‘Devices’ during the period.

While warning retailers of these Devices to stop the sales, stated that any person or group of persons found flouting this order will be arrested and prosecuted.

Counting the unwavering support and cooperation of the public urged everyone to be security conscious and be at alert.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages.
