Several Persons Injured In Accident At Igwuruta-Ali Airport Road

Over twelve persons including children were seriously injured following an accident that occured along airport road at first gate Amasiamaka International stadium in Igwuruta-ali Ikwerre local government area of Rivers state.

An eyewitness Mr Peter explained that the woman who was driving a Lexus jeep lost control ,jumped to the other lane and coiled with a fourteen sitter bus on high speed.

Mr Peter said driver of the Lexus was making call when the unfortunate incident happened.

He mentioned that over five children including the driver of the bus and the conductor were badly injured and rushed to the hospital.

Our Correspondent who visited the scene of the incident report that police officers and Federal Road Safety Corps,FRSC ; personnel were sighted .
