National President of South South Youth Initiative comrade Imeabe  Oscar has raised alarm over an alleged threat to his life by the president of National Youth Council Rivers State chapter Mr.Chijioke Ihunwo.

Mr. Oscar said  while on a live program in Rhythm 93.7 ,Mr.Ihunwo came into the station seeking access to the studio but was prevented by the receptionist and some top management staff.

The South south youth president alleged that Mr. Ihunwo was acting on an instruction by the governor of Rivers State Chief Nyesom Wike.

"I am using this opportunity to call on well meaningful  Nigerians to come to my aid as my life is under threat by the Rivers state government who is busy criticising but won't want to be criticise.
Because i complained about the high level of negligence on the side of the governor for zero governance in ensuring the payment of bursary to students, youths empowerment, Job creation, promotion of civil servants and payment of pensions, requesting that the governor put on hold his 2023 ambition until he has been able to meet up the needs of the people instead of turning Rivers state into father Christmas state. This and others were my reactions on air that warranted the likes of Chijioke Ihunwo to plan attacking me in the studio".

Mr. Oscar added that he was airing the view of two million Rivers youths  in the studio when Mr.Ihunwo came and was about forcing himself into the studio .
