SCIID Takes Over Case Of Gang Defilement Of 12 Year Old Girl

 




The Rivers State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department ,SCIID;  has taken over case of alleged defilement of a twelve year old girl by three boys aged 15,15 and 14  at Rumudomaya in Obio Akpor Local Government Area of the State.

Our Correspondent reports that two of the boys Chibuike and Christopher aged 15 and 14 years  were arrested on Monday while the third suspect is still at large.


The two suspects were transferred from Human Rights desk,Police headquarters to State CID .


 Father of the alleged defilement survivor who does not want his name and that of his daughter mentioned ,told our Correspondent that last year November the three teenagers abducted his twelve year old daughter in Rumudomaya on her way to dispose off refuse at about 7pm and took her to a secluded area where she was allegedly defiled by the trio and held for three hours with warning not to disclose their identities.


The father explained that the arrest of the suspects comes two months of discreet Investigation by the human rights desk following a petition he wrote to Commissioner of Police which was minuted to the department in Police headquarters.


He added that medical examination conducted on his daughter revealed she was badly brutalized.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. SP Koko said the missing girl left home on Monday, September 8th,2025. All efforts made to trace her whereabout proved abortive. Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter. When the matter was called for hearing, and the lawyer was not present, the court on inquiry was informed by the litigant that his lawyer died since last year December 2025.
