CP Assures IGP That Officers From Rivers Command Will Not Join Strike Action


 



Rivers state police command has assured the Inspector General of Police IGP Usman Baba  that officers from the state will not embark on strike as speculated.

 Commissioner of Police,  Eboka Friday gave the assurance in Port Harcourt while speaking to personnels of the Command over the welfare packages put in place by the IGP.



Mr.Friday  commended the IGP for making the welfare of officers his tops priority.


Some of the Officers who assured the commissioner that they will not join any strike action were drawn from  Bori, Oyigbo, Eleme, Mini Okoro, amongst other Police Divisions.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. SP Koko said the missing girl left home on Monday, September 8th,2025. All efforts made to trace her whereabout proved abortive.
