Winner Of PDP Presidential Primary Election Atiku Abubakar Promise To Unite Nigeria

 


The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP; has declared the Former Vice President of Nigeria Atiku Abubakar as the winner of the just concluded presidential primary election conducted in the convention Electoral Committee of the party in Abuja.

Abubakar who scored a total of 371 votes to beat his closet opponent Governor of Rivers State Nyesom Wike who scored 237 votes was declared winner by the chairman of the Convention Electoral Committee Senator David Mark.

In his acceptance speech the Former Vice President who is now the Presidential flag Bearer of the party Atiku Abubakar thanked delegates and all PDP members for their support and promised to unite Nigeria as the APC government has disunite the country.

Abubakar said all security issues plaguing the country will be addressed if elected president of the Nation.



The presidential candidate appreciated follow contenders and promised to work with them to win the 2023 presidential election.

He appealed to aggrieved party members to come back to the party as internal mechanism will be use to resolve all disputes.

Other contenders Busola Saraki scored 70, Udom Emmanuel scored 38 ,Ayim Pius Anyim scored 14 votes  while Senator Bala Mohammed  20 Votes among others.

A total of 763 votes was cast with 12 void votes while 12 Aspirants contested for the presidential seat in the party.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter. When the matter was called for hearing, and the lawyer was not present, the court on inquiry was informed by the litigant that his lawyer died since last year December 2025. The court, presided over by Senior Magistrate Kingsley Briggs became confused and had to search through his record book, where he confirmed the lawyer’s presence during proceeding on Tuesday the 10th day of February, 2026.
