Alleged Defilement Of Minor :Chief Magistrate Declines Jurisdiction

Chief Magistrate I.O Agbesor presiding over a Magistrate Court in Ozuoba has declined jurisdiction in the case of alleged Countless defilement and trial with ordeal of thirteen year old by an accused Preye Marshal- Harry aged thirty eight.

Chief Magistrate Agbesor after going through the charge sheet when the accused was arraigned in court declined jurisdiction and ordered that the suspect should be taken back to Ozuoba Police Division and advised he be transferred to State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department,SCIID! that can arraigned the suspect in a Court of competent Jurisdiction.

Meanwhile a lawyer with Legal Care Advocacy Foundation Jane O.A James Esq told our Correspondent that they will follow up on the directive of the Chief Magistrate.
