Man 34,Arrested For Alleged Defilement Of Lover's Thirteen Year Old Niece

 



A man in his early thirties  Preye Harry from Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State have been arrested by the police for allegedly defiling his female lover's thirteen year old niece for four years.


In an interview with our Correspondent,an Uncle to the victim Mr. Boma Totty said the suspect had in December,2019 defiled the minor who was nine year old then.

According to Mr Totty  the suspect brought out calabash and other fetish items from his vehicle after allegedly defiling the minor, an administered oath of secrecy on her with charge that she and her family members will die if she disclosed what transpired.

He further explained that the suspect Harry continued his evil act for almost four years until the family members observed  the way the minor was spending money and upon interrogation she revealed that 'Uncle' Preye who has been showering her with money,gift was having  carnal knowledge of her .


Mr Totty while calling for justice added that the suspect was arrested when he came to visit his female lover last night.

 When contacted the Police Public Relations Officer ,Mrs Grace Iringe-Koko 
promised to get back to our Correspondent on the matter.

Meanwhile,Chairperson Legal Care Advocacy Foundation,Jane James  while reacting to the incident called on the Police to ensure thorough investigation on the matter.


She promised to follow up the matter and ensure justice is served if the suspect is found guilty.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter.
