A ten year old girl who was chased out of the house by her guardian has been recovered by a Human Rights group Centre for Basic Rights Protection and Accountability Campaign.
National Coordinator of the group, Prince Wiro said the attention of the organization was drawn to the incident by residents of Mile 2 Diobu PortHarcourt who saw the ten year old girl roaming the street.
Mr Wiro said the ten year old girl gave her name as Favour Nnamdi from Ebonyi State.
He explained that the group in company of a member of Diobu Vigilante immediately handed over the child who could not remember her address to the Police.
Mr .Wiro added that the group is making effort to inform the Ministry of Social Welfare on the development ,while calling for a thorough investigation into the allegation made by the ten year old girl.
