Greater Evangelism World Crusade Celebrates Golden Anniversary

 The International Director ,Greater Evangelism World Crusade ,Pastor Isaac V. Olori has called on Christians to rekindle their hope in the midst of hopelessness,no matter the situation as God has the ability to bring beauty out of ashes.


The clergy while ministering at this month's Healing Service at the church World Headquarters Airport Road PortHarcourt,spoke on the topic "Divine Appointment" took his message from the book of Isaiah chapter 61 verses 1 to 3 

Pastor Olori said the Healing service was instituted to provide all round healing, which every worshipper  needs to connect in the realm of the spirit to receive healing.

The man of God who spoke extensively on Ashes ,which represents pain, sorrow  and mourning ,stated that God specializes in turning Ashes to beauty.


He added that God will not only turn Ashes to beauty, but give believers the capacity to stand any pressure.

The church which will be celebrating her 50th Anniversary from 4th to 11th September 2022, lined up activities to mark  the epoch event.

Speaking to Journalists on the Anniversary ,Chairman Anniversary Planning Committee Dr. Lawrence Heart 
 said the Anniversary is symbolic because 50 years is a covenant one, known as the year of jubilee and for a ministry that existed ,promoting her core values and visions for 50 years is indeed a time for celebration, not just that it is a command from God to celebrate jubilee, but it is worthwhile that a ministry of 50 years should be celebrated .

He noted that the Anniversary season is a season of manifold blessings and the ministry is set for the next level, for the society and those who will be joining the event are going to be covenant partakers of jubilee celebrations ,as the grace of God will be seen upon the Land.

Dr. Heart  also told Newsmen that inline with the anniversary a mega Port Harcourt City Wide crusade has been scheduled to hold on the 5th and 6th of August 2022 with a Thanksgiving on the 7th.
 
The chairman explained that the crusade will bring about salvation, rescue men and the land and will relaunch the mandate of Greater Evangelism World Crusade.

He stated that music concert will be one of the activities to celebrate the Anniversary.

On his part, chairman planning committee mega Port Harcourt City wide crusade, pastor George Dada while shedding more light on the crusade,said the event will feature healings, deliverance, salvation, miracle among other activities.

He noted that free buses will be stationed at various locations in Port Harcourt to convey people to and  from the crusade, which is slated to hold at Shark Stadium Port Harcourt on the 5th and 6th of August 2022 with a free medical outreach on Saturday morning at Town Church 3 station road in Port Harcourt.

Pastor Dada gave an assurance of adequate security for all attendees as security measures had been put in place for the crusade and other activities.

Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter. When the matter was called for hearing, and the lawyer was not present, the court on inquiry was informed by the litigant that his lawyer died since last year December 2025. The court, presided over by Senior Magistrate Kingsley Briggs became confused and had to search through his record book, where he confirmed the lawyer’s presence during proceeding on Tuesday the 10th day of February, 2026. Federal Government Yet to Approve Adire as NYSC Uniform, Minister Clarifies
