Governor Wike Dashes 2 Billion Naira To Ogunabali Community

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike says the state has experienced infrastructural evolution since he took office in 2015.

Governor Wike who stated this during the inauguration of dualized Ogunabali road in Port Harcourt Local Government Area explained that his drive to continue to embark on more projects even as the administration is coming to an end is because of his passion and commitment to Rivers people.

The Governor promised that he will continue to use the mandate given to him for the interest of Rivers State.

Commenting on the road, Governor Wike donated the sum of two billion naira to Ogunabali community for their cooperation during the periods of the projects.

He also donated one billion naira for women empowerment and lifted the ban on youth association and activities in the community.

Inaugurating the project, Former Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Aliyu Wamakko commended Governor Wike for providing quality infrastructure for the people.

Giving the project description, the State Commissioner for Works, George Kelly Alabo said the two-point-one-nine kilometers dualized road with street lights was completed within the stipulated time frame.
