Greater Evangelism World Crusade Celebrates 50th Anniversary In Grand Style

Government have been charged to live up to its responsibility of protecting the lives and property of citizens.

International Director, Greater Evangelism World Crusade Pastor Isaac Olori gave this charge while briefing Newsmen at the church World headquarters in Rupokwu PortHarcourt.

Pastor Olori stated that the issue of insecurity plaguing the nation is at alarming rate, hence the need for the government to sit up and take up it's responsibility.

The pastor noted that while the church will keep praying for the peace of the nation, individuals must be security conscious by reporting suspicious movement around their environment to appropriate Authorities.

Meanwhile the church is celebrating 50 years of existence in grand style.

The jubilee celebration which has started with series  Crusades in Rivers and Bayelsa stated will culminate from the fourth through eleventh of September 2022  with different programs to show the faithfulness of God to the ministry and members.

Pastor  Olori said the essence of the anniversary is to tell of the goodness of the lord towards the ministry that was founded 50 years ago by late Apostle Geoffrey Numbere of blessed memory.

Pastor Olori said the Ministry, even with the death of the founding International Director has remained focused.

He stated that the church was instrumental to the eradication of
traditional practices in the old Rivers State and won the victory for the Kingdom of God.

The International Director also explained that the ministry was a vanguard to awaken the churches of those days from their slumber and cold religious practices.

The pastor while emphasizing the role Greater Evangelism World Crusade played in the salvation of souls, stated that the ministry was deeply involved in the destruction of idol worship in the then old Rivers State which is now Rivers and Bayelsa States.

Pastor Olori stressed that the church has also influenced the society positively by preaching sound doctrine, with evidence of people giving their lives to Christ on a daily basis through the ministration of the word of God.

He noted that the church is  celebrating 50thJubilee in appreciation to God who gave the Vision and sustained it
to bring salvation and light to many people and communities.

The church  lined up activities to celebrate the anniversary with a Fundraising for the Apostle  Geoffrey Numbere Foundation which will come up on Sunday the 11th of September this year.
