Operatives Of Rivers State Police Command Nab 7 Suspects Terrorizing The State





Operatives of the Rivers State Police Command have arrested seven notorious criminal suspects, terrorizing Port Harcourt and it's environs.

 
In a statement,Police Public Relations Officer DSP Grace Iringe-Koko said one Saviour Gbarale who is 24 years old and Onyedikachi Uhala who is 18 years old were arrested at Borokiri in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area by operatives of C4i Intelligence Unit of the Command.

According to the statement, the suspects specialized in house breaking and have been linked to series of recent armed robbery attacks in PortHarcourt .

She said Investigations also revealed that the suspects raped a pregnant  woman in the cause of their operations.  

The suspects were also alleged to snatched vehicles from Bolt drivers in PortHarcourt .


One revolver pistol and two vehicles, were recovered from the suspects . 

Similarly, on 24th, July 2022, Operatives of C4i Intelligence Unit, while on a routine anti crime patrol along Eleme road junction, run into a gang of armed robbers. 

The Police engaged the hoodlums in gun duel, during the cause of which two suspects were subdued . 

One Victor Okona who is 23 years old and  Onuoha Odinaka who is 22 years old residing at Eleme junction were arrested while others escaped with various degrees of injuries. 

One American Revolver pistol and one motor cycle were recovered from the suspects, while efforts were being intensified to arrest others at large.
