Greater Evangelism World Crusade At 50 , Clergy Prayed For Peaceful Election Next Year


 




Ahead of the General election, the International Director, Greater Evangelism World Crusade, Pastor Isaac Olori said the Church will continue to pray for a peaceful election and for good leaders that will have the interest of the people at heart.

Pastor Olori who made the assertion known during the grand finale of the Golden Jubilee celebration of the church at her World Headquarters in Rukpokwu, also identified thanksgiving as one of the ways to attract more blessings from God.

He joined dignitaries and members of the Church who gathered to recounted their experiences so far, to celebrate GOD’S impactful blessings on many lives in the Church, these 50 years of existence.

According to Pastor Isaac Olori, despite the death of the founding General Overseer of the Church, Apostle Geoffrey Numbere, the vision of the ministry to preached men into the Kingdom of God is still intact.

Pastor Olori, while stating that God deserves all the glory for seeing them through all these years, said the church will go deeper with God to see more glory.

The pastor also spoke extensively on the renewal of Apostle Numbere’s Foundation.


Speaking during the event, the governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri congratulated the church for the labour the founding father Apostle Geoffrey Numbere of blessed memory put- in in the gospel in the Niger Delta.

He said the late Apostle was preaching the gospel when the region was suffering from youths’ restiveness.

Governor Diri who was represented by the Bayelsa State Special Adviser on Religious Matters, Pastor Godspower Asingba, encouraged the leadership of the church to keep up the legacy of the Founding father of the Church.

Meanwhile, wife of the Founding General Overseer of the Church, Dr. Nonyem Numbere, said the vision lives on, despite the dismise of her husband.


Dr. Numbere advised Christians to depend on God irrespective of the harsh situation they may be passing through as a result of poor economy.  

On his part, Chairman planning Committee of the Anniversary, Dr. Lawrence Hart said the church will brace up with the challenges of mentoring the younger generation and prepare them for Heaven.

 Highlights of the events include cutting of the Anniversary cake with the launching of Apostle Numbere‘s Foundation.

Bille People Appeal To Governor Fubara To Prevail On Alhaji Asari Dokubo To Stop Evasion Of Territory

Rivers State Government Targets Reduction In Gender Based Violence
