PDP Members In Eleme Local Government Area Of Rivers State Joins APC

 





Hundreds of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP; members in Eleme local government Area of Rivers State have defected to the All Progressives Congress joined APC .

The APC Candidate for Rivers South East Senatorial District,Mr. Oji Ngofa  who received the defectors said project signature of Former Governor of the State Rotimi Amaechi is still speaking.


Mr. Ngofa accused the state governor of frequently donating money to other states government while Rivers State civil service have collapsed without promotion of workers, payment of pension arrears and gratuities and employment of young people.

The APC party stalwart while expressing happiness over the decision of the defectors, assured them of equal opportunity and good representation in APC.

On their parts, Chief Osaro Chube  who is the Leader of the defectors in Ward four, Ebubu Community and former Councillor of Ward four in Eleme Amasi Osaro said they decided to join their new party because of what the leaders represent, saying  they were denied of their rights in their former party.


Our correspondent reports that the APC Spokesperson in Rivers State, Darlington  Nwauju , the State Youth Leader, Baridakara Gbarato and Chairman of the party in Eleme, Ajuri Saka amongst others were present at the event.

Bille People Appeal To Governor Fubara To Prevail On Alhaji Asari Dokubo To Stop Evasion Of Territory

Pastor Dehumanizing Children In Rivers State Cools Off In Police Net

  By: Awajis Josiah-Chijindu  The Rivers State Police Command has arrested pastor Ifediorah Onyeibor Joseph, aged 41,following a video showing the dehumanizing of minors circulating on social media. According to a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, Preliminary investigations revealed that Pastor Joseph allegedly organized a 3-day program for children in his Church, purportedly for "spiritual cleaning," claiming to have been inspired by the Holy Spirit. SP Iringe-Koko noted that upon receiving the information, Operatives from the Command through coordinated intelligence, arrested the pastor and several Church members at the scene.
