President Obolo Youth Coalition Condemns Attack On RSTV Staff By A Prophe

Reactions have continued to thrill the alleged torture of a staff of Rivers State Television, RSTV, Mr.Glorious Abel Unente, who was beaten by security agents working for a man of God with a new generation church in PortHarcourt.


 President General of Obolo Youth Coalition world-wide Comrade Mkpon Ijonama in an interview with our Correspondent described the act as barbaric, primitive and unreligious .


Comrade Ijonama wondered why a  supposed man of God by name Miracle who is General Overseer Dynamic Flame of Fire and Miracle Ministry will descend so low to inflict grievous injury on a follow Human.

" Im short of word to express what my eyes saw when I visited my innocent younger brother at the hospital on how a suppose self acclaimed prophet unlawfully took unwarranted laws into his hand by forcing himself through the antics of lies as a Prophet that he is on RSTV Acting Manager errant to pick up an items, this lies convince the gatemen on duty to open gate for him and some other gunmen."The President stressed 

 
Comrade Ijonama called on all relevant authorities,  especially the Commissioner of Police in Rivers State to order an immediate arrest of Prophet Miracle and the security personnel involved in the matter.

" He took an innocent Staff of RSTV Mr.Glorious Abel, a native of Asarama town from Andoni LGA to unknown destination, blind folded him, tie him up, beat him up, inflict several injured on him, and later on dump him along the road side close to Rstv complex".He added


Mr. Ijonama urged all Media Houses and the Rivers State government to join in condemning the act.

The youth leader however called for proper investigation into the matter and the prophet punished if found guilty to serve as deterrent to others


Earlier A Staff of Rivers State Television, RSTV; Mr. Glorious Abel appealed to relevant authorities especially the Nigerian police to come to his aide and give him justice.

Mr. Abel who was allegedly beaten up by security agents attached to a pastor of a new generation church , Prophet Miracle is now in a critical condition in an hospital in port Harcourt as a result of the torture.

He stated that his crime was ending the church's program that was over  produced beyond 30mins which is against the station's house style.

The victim who narrated his ordeal to our Correspondent said he was kidnapped from the station to unknown destination and dragged  into a house where they tied his hands, legs and flogged him mercilessly in the presence of the Pastor.

Mr. Abel said the prophet threatened to kill him if he reviewed what happened and then asked the men to take him back and he was dumped opposite the RSTV gate .

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter. When the matter was called for hearing, and the lawyer was not present, the court on inquiry was informed by the litigant that his lawyer died since last year December 2025.
