Suspected Criminal Arrested By Local Security Group In PortHarcourt



 


Members of Diobu Vigilance group at Mile three Diobu PortHarcourt City Local Government Area of Rivers State have arrested a suspected Criminal  Godspower Friday thirty two year old in the early hours of today in possession of locally made pistol,machete and facemask.

Assistant Secretary of Diobu Vigilante who is also the Chief Security Officer of Nkpolu-Oroworukwo Comrade Godstime Ihunwo,  in an interview with Journalists said the suspect who hail from Bayelsa state but resides behind St.Thomas spear parts dealer mechanic garage in Diobu was arrested by the vigilante men while on patrol along IKwerre road with a locally made pistol, Machete,two button phones and a facemask .

Comrade Ihunwo believed items recovered were used by the suspect to carry out  criminal activities in the area.

He added that the suspect has been handed over to the police for further investigation.

When contacted,the spokesperson  Rivers State Police command SP Grace Iringe- Koko who confirmed the incident said she will come up with more update on the incident.

Bille People Appeal To Governor Fubara To Prevail On Alhaji Asari Dokubo To Stop Evasion Of Territory
