Over 100 Youths Graduate From OPM Free Training Programme








Acquisition of Technical skills has been identified as a gateway to fight joblessness and poverty in Nigeria. 

This was the position of speakers at the graduation ceremony of more than One hundred students at the Wealveth Hub in Port Harcourt.

General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry ,Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere who is also the sponsor of the program ,described his effort as replicating the love which God has for his children .

Apostle Chinyere said he focused more on the Youths considering the role they play in the society.

He called on Government Agencies to enact policies that would promote the acquisition of technical skills that will  engage youths and reduce the number of jobless youths in Nigeria


On her part, Chief Executive Officer of Wealveth Hub, Loveth Ogedebe stated that most youths who are roaming the street, have the willingness but do not have access to finance and technical support to learn the requisite skills that would make them self-reliant.


Also speaking,  Rivers State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Mr. Salisu Galadunci said that youths should embrace technical skills training in order to complement government efforts towards combating unemployment in the country.



Some of the graduating students also expressed their thoughts on the importance of acquiring technical skills



The students were full of praise for the organizers of the training and called on government to pay more attention on positive engagement of the Youths to reduce restiveness in the country.


The Youths were trained on video editing, photography, Cyber security and more.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter. When the matter was called for hearing, and the lawyer was not present, the court on inquiry was informed by the litigant that his lawyer died since last year December 2025.
