Kaa Crisis: Sheathe Your Sword In The Interest Of Peace, President Obolo Youth Coalition Appeal

 



Youths from Ajakajak community in Andoni Local government Area and their counterpart from Khana local government area of Rivers State have been called upon to Sheathe their swords in the interest of peace.

President Obolo Youth Coalition worldwide Comrade Mkpon Amon who made the appeal,noted that for the past few days,there had been unrest at Kaa waterfront as a result of little misunderstanding between youths from the two communities.

Comrade Amon who appreciated efforts of the Andoni Council Chairman Mr. Erastus Awortu for alerting the security agency who deployed military men to the scene of the crisis, urged the chairman of Khana local government area Dr. Thomas Bariere to also add his voice to bring the crisis under control.


The president enjoined Rivers State governor Nyesom Wike and the commissioner of Police Effiong Okon to as a matter of urgency wade into the matter to avoid escalation of the crisis.

Comrade Amon stated that at the early hours of the day gunshots were heard at Ajakajak community making residents scampered for safety.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. SP Koko said the missing girl left home on Monday, September 8th,2025. All efforts made to trace her whereabout proved abortive. Hoodlums Kidnap Students Of Rivers State University

Confirming the incident, Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko said today 2nd December 2025, a group of suspected cultists, numbering about five, attacked an isolated area in Rumuche/Rumuohia Community. The hoodlums shot and abducted five persons to an unknown destination.
