Rivers State Police Command Arrest Human Traffickers


 

Detectives of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Rivers State Police Command, have arrested one Mary  Samson in connection with the abduction and trafficking of one Favour Cleopas  aged 15 on 29th January 2023. 

The suspect allegedly took the victim to Lagos State on 5th February 2023 for Prostitution.


Investigation revealed that the suspect conspired with one Blessing Christopher to send girls to one Christabel Christopher, who is into prostitution in Lagos State. 

Two victims earlier trafficked to Lagos by the suspect, Tari Paul 16 years and Blessings Temple 16 years, have been rescued by Detectives and are helping in the investigation.


In another Development, the Rivers State Police  arrested one Victoria Okon 23 years, Jessica Ndifreke  26 years, Charity Samuel  19 years and Chinaza Daniel  25 years in connection with the abduction of a 4 year old Unique Tan Timitoms  at Afam. 

Victoria, who is known by the victim was said to have lured him to the other suspects.

 Suspects were eventually arrested while trying to transport their victim to Aba. Meanwhile, the victim has been reunited with his parents.


The Command admonishes all residents of Rivers State to be cautious in exposing their children to neighbours and friends they do not truly know.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. SP Koko said the missing girl left home on Monday, September 8th,2025. All efforts made to trace her whereabout proved abortive. Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter.
