Police Allegedly Raid Accord House Of Assembly Candidate,Arrest Security Detail, Driver, Others

The Police from Koroma and Saipenwa Police Divisions last night allegedly raided the house of Princess ,the candidate of Accord for Tai State Constituency in Koroma,her home town  arresting her Police detail,driver and Female cousin.

Princess Nlenwa who narrowly escaped death,spoke to our Correspondent from the bush .

"This evening as soon as I entered my community Koroma Tai the DCO Koroma Division called me on the phone that the DPO Koroma Division wants to have a word with me so I felt it was regards the elections so I honoured the invitation.

"So I got to the station, the DPO was not there so the DCO asked I should sit down and waited for the DPO to come.I waited for thirty minutes I did not see any DPO,though I saw the Koroma Tai Division DPO who walked past me,I asked the DCO is this not Koroma Tai Division DPO he said he is  not on duty,that they have another DPO on election duty.

"I told them I am living after waiting for more than forty minutes I did not see any DPO coming forth so I left. Getting to my house after like thirty or forty minutes I got home,the DCO called me that the DPO is in the station that I should return,I told him I have people I am attending to,that I will come much later . They matched to my compound,invaded my house and my Dad blocked them and told them I am not around that I have left,they push my Dad,broke in and searched my house  and left with two of my drivers,three  security men attached to me and my Cousin.

"They took them to Saipenwa Police Division,both Koroma and Saipenwa Police Divisions came for the movement.The security personnel they took are Police men  attached  to me  .

"I am telling the general public that if anything goes wrong with me or any member of my family Senator Bari Mpigi should be held responsible,he is the one responsible".

When contacted the Spokesperson for the Rivers State Police Command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko said she is not aware of the situation ,but will get back to our Correspondent.
