The Rivers State Police Command has arrested the leader of the disbanded OSPAC, Nyeche Ajuru who seized two riffles from Men of Nigerian Soldiers two months ago at Ndele community, Emohua Local Government Area.
Briefing Journalists at the Police headquarters in Port Harcourt, CP Nwonyi Emeka stated that Nyeche Ajuru was arrested along Aluu -UDS road in a Toyota Corolla car by operatives of Anti-cultism last week Thursday.
CP Emeka stated that an AK 47 Riffle, two walkie talkies, Police Special Constabulary ID was recovered from Ajuru and the occupants of the vehicle.The Rivers Police Boss said the suspect Ajuru confessed to have engaged and killed two soldiers in a shoot out in Ndele.
Also one ThankGod Aruka was arrested last week Thursday in connection to the kidnapped of Justice Azunda, protocol officer to Emeka Woke, former Chief of Staff, Rivers State Government House.
The Commissioner said the suspect led the Police operatives to their hideout where the corpse of the Kidnapped victim who was killed and buried in a shallow grave at Emohua was exhumed. CP Emeka disclosed that two ATM cards, one AK 47 riffle was recovered from the scene.
Meanwhile the Police has also arrested members of a notorious fraudster syndicate based on complaint from some victims.
