Police Storms Criminal Hideout,Kill Three Suspects In Rivers Community

 Operatives of the Rivers State Police Command killed three suspected kidnappers at Isiodu Forest in Emohua Local Government Area of the state.

CP  Nwonyi Emeka while briefing Newsmen at the Command's headquarters in Port Harcourt said in continuation of the command's move to make Rivers State crime free will leave no stone unturned in smoking out criminals in the State.


CP Emeka explained that Officers and men of the Command, today 16th June 2023, stormed a hideout at Isiodu,the hoodlums on sighting them, opened fire and gun battle ensured,on the process three of the hoodlums were fatally wounded and were confirmed dead at the hospital.


The Commissioner disclosed that eight magazines,seventy rounds of live ammunition and ten cartridges were recovered.

Speaking further, the Commissioner said Operatives on routine patrol spotted a corpse tied, with bodily injuries. one suspect was arrested and investigation is ongoing.


CP Emeka explained that some hoodlums known for snatching phones were at UPE Borokiri sand field to carry out operation, the hoodlums on sighting the police ran away.

The Commissioner added that a pistol was recovered while investigation is ongoing.

Bille People Appeal To Governor Fubara To Prevail On Alhaji Asari Dokubo To Stop Evasion Of Territory

Pastor Dehumanizing Children In Rivers State Cools Off In Police Net

  By: Awajis Josiah-Chijindu  The Rivers State Police Command has arrested pastor Ifediorah Onyeibor Joseph, aged 41,following a video showing the dehumanizing of minors circulating on social media. According to a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, Preliminary investigations revealed that Pastor Joseph allegedly organized a 3-day program for children in his Church, purportedly for "spiritual cleaning," claiming to have been inspired by the Holy Spirit.
