Principal Of A School In Rivers State Allegedly Assault Female Teacher

A female Teacher in Community Senior Secondary School Isiodu Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State, Miss Blessing Nkomadu has narrated how she was brutalized,her clothe torn by her Principal Mr. Kingsley Kabari and later arrested by Anti-cultism Police unit.


Miss Nkomadu alleged that after the WAEC Exams yesterday ,June 22nd ,2023,the Principal  insisted that the students must pay three thousand five hundred naira before collecting their smart cards. Which some of the teachers disagreed, including one Mr. Godspower Woke who insisted that the cards should be given to the students without any charges.

According to Miss Nkomadu the Principal managed to issue out few and retained that of some of the students.

Miss Nkomadu said she went to meet the Principal in his office to ask that the students be given their smart cards, which the Principal bluntly refused as the students were owing his malpractice fee.

''The Principal asked me to leave his office, when i refused and kept begging, next thing, the Principal got up, bounced on me and started beating me up, tore my clothe. 

Some of the WAEC Students who were there tried in rescuing me and raised alarm that attracted a male teacher who came in to hold him and stop him from beating me".


She said the Principal went to make a call and  anti- cultism unit stationed at Isiodu junction came and arrested her and Mr.Woke alleging that both of them  came to his office to beat him up.

Miss Nkomadu explained that before yesterday Thursday the Principal threatened her in the presence of Chiefs and parents Teachers Association meeting accusing her of being the one telling people that he  was collecting illegal levy.

''While i was being taken away by the Police a lady called me and said she is the Principal's wife and threatened to deal with me''.

On his part,the Principal Mr. Kingsley Kabari denied the allegation levied against him by Blessing Nkomadu.

Mr. Kabari said he was not involve in exam malpractice neither did he assault Miss Nkomadu .

The Principal added that it was Miss Nkomadu who brought three guys to beat him up.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. SP Koko said the missing girl left home on Monday, September 8th,2025. All efforts made to trace her whereabout proved abortive.
