ENDOGLOSSOPHOBIA

It could be the fear of a thing, people, object or language.  Lots of persons globally have one fear or the other. They find it difficult to relate to a particular thing. Police In Rivers State Raid Camp Of A Notorious Cultist, Recover Arms

  By Awajis George  Police in Rivers State says it raided the camp of General Danger a notorious cultist in Ahoada, neutralized one member of the group and recovered assorted arms and ammunition.  Commissioner of Police, Nwonyi Emeka in a press briefing at Police headquarters in Port Harcourt said General Danger and Double Chief narrowly escaped . CP Emeka said one AK 47 riffle,five magazines loaded with 51 live ammunition,GPMG live ammunition,assorted charms were recovered from the camp while efforts are on to arrest the fleeing suspects. Rivers State Police Command Confirms Death Of A Man In A Hotel

  By  Awajis George  The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the death of a man simply identified as Ken in a hotel in Khana Street, D-line Port Harcourt on Sunday morning after he booked a room on Saturday night.   Spokesperson Rivers State police command, SP Grace Iringe- Koko, said a Staff of the hotel reported the matter at Olu-Obasanjo Police Division.   SP Iringe-Koko said the corpse of the man has been retrieved by the Police while investigation is ongoing.   Meanwhile is not clear if the deceased logged in the hotel with a guest or not.   Speaking on the incident, a human rights advocate, Prince Wiro of Centre for Basic Rights Protection and Accountability Campaign said information available to him shows that the hotel does not have a functional CCTV camera and proper check in procedure.     Mr Wiro said the Rivers State Government through the Ministry of Culture and Tourism should set up a task force to monitor the level of compliance by hotels and guest houses as regard

Naval Officer Alleges Denial Of Promotion Over Stance Against Oil Theft ..Seeks Tinubu, NASS Intervention

  An officer of the Nigerian  Navy, Cmdr Promise Zebulon Dappa, has lamented mistreatment and denial of promotion by the Nigerian navy following his uncompromising  stance against oil theft and ant-piracy operation which led to the arrest of several vessels carrying illegally refined products. Rivers NUJ Raises Alarm Over Kidnap Of Member

  By  Awajis George  The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Rivers State Council, has raised alarm over the kidnapped of its member, Mrs Priestba Anthony Nwokocha, and called on security agencies to ensure her immediate rescue. The Union was informed that Mrs Nwokocha who is Director of News, Rivers State Broadcasting Corporation, was allegedly whisked away on Friday night by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers. She was abducted at a gun point at about 8:00pm after close of work along Ogonigba/ Elelenwo bridge leading to the old Slaughter Market in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State. Stakeholders Warn Youths Against Dangers Of Taking Tobacco

  By Awajis George  The need to grow food and not tobacco has been emphasized as the Federal Ministry of Health in conjunction with  management Sciences for Health organized a sensitization walk as a continuous awareness on the World No Tobacco Day in Rivers State on the dangers of  Tobacco intake. Police In Rivers State Dismantle Camp of Notorious Kidnapper In Emuoha

By  Awajis George     Rivers State Police Command says it has dismantled the camp of a notorious Kidnapper, Princewill Orlu in Emohua Local Government Area. Briefing Newsmen at the command’s headquarters in Port Harcourt, Commissioner of Police, CP Nwonyi Emeka said operatives of the Hunter team of the Command stormed the camp of the kidnapper and arrested five suspects . Port Harcourt Business Woman Regains Freedom After Eight Days In Captivity

By Awajis George  A Port Harcourt business woman,Mrs Onyi Ugba who was Kidnapped at Umuoji junction at Okija street Mile 1 Diobu on July 7,2023 has regained freedom after eight days in captivity. A source close to the family disclosed that she was released by her abductors around PortHarcourt metropolis on Friday night 14, July,2023. The source was silent on whether ransom was paid or not. Meanwhile,Public Relations Officer of Rivers State Police Command SP Grace Iringe-Koko who confirmed the incident, said officers on stop and search at Abaili park intercepted the vehicle where  she was blindfolded and rescued the victim ,while investigation is on top gear to arrest the perpetrators.

Rivers State Government Cancel Ignatius Ajuru University Employment

  By  Awajis George  The Government of Rivers State has observed with dismay the inconsistencies/ irregularities and flagrant disobedience to the directives concerning the just concluded recruitment exercise at the  Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni, Port Harcourt. Therefore,  the recent employment exercise conducted by the management of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt is hereby cancelled . All appointment letters issued and received are hereby nullified and the affected  persons are directed to return the letters to the office of the Registrar of the Instistition and other employment related properties such as ID Cards in their possession to the office of the Head of Service, Rivers State immediately. Pastor Charge To Court For Raping 15 Year Old Girl

  By Awajis George The Pastor of Glorious Covenant Church on Thursday 13th, July 2023 Pastor Pillar  Erekwa pleaded guilty to a one count charge on sexual abuse preferred against him by the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) at the Magistrate Court 1.  The Pastor pleaded guilty, when Chief Magistrate Ogeh Elkanah who presided over the case  at Rivers State family court read the charge of sexual abuse of a fifteen year old girl in Mgbuola village  Ndele Emohua Local Government Area between December 2022 and January 2023, an offence punishable by law of Rivers State to Mr.Erekwa. The trial Magistrate, Elkanah adjourned the matter to 19th, July, 2023 for facts and sentencing. Police Parades Man For Selling His Children

  By  Awajis George  Police in Rivers State has paraded one ThankGod  Ekwueme for selling his three children 700,000,500,000 and 350,000 naira respectively. Mr Ekwueme in an interview with Journalists said he was intercepted by OSPAC in his community Omerelu,Ikwerre Local Government Area when he was about selling his new born baby. He disclosed that he was handed over to Elele Police Division from where he was transferred to CP Monitoring unit. In the meantime the mother-inlaw of Mr Ekwueme explained to newsmen that before now,the suspect has been lying to her that her grand children dies after child bearing. She said the suspect Mr. Ekwueme was taking advantage of her daughter,his wife who is deaf and dumb to perpetrate the act of selling the wife's children upon delivery.

Police Arrest Corporal For Alleged Armed Robbery

Police Public Relations Officer, SP Grace Iringe-Koko made the disclosure in a press briefing today,13th July 2023 in PortHarcourt . Rivers Police Arrest Officers Assaulting Man In Viral Video
