Police In Rivers State Dismantle Camp of Notorious Kidnapper In Emuoha

 Rivers State Police Command says it has dismantled the camp of a notorious Kidnapper, Princewill Orlu in Emohua Local Government Area.



Briefing Newsmen at the command’s headquarters in Port Harcourt, Commissioner of Police, CP Nwonyi Emeka said operatives of the Hunter team of the Command stormed the camp of the kidnapper and arrested five suspects .


Some of the arrested suspects are  Orlu Gabriel, ThankGod Wori, while the ring leader Princewill Orlu escaped.

 

CP Emeka disclosed that two AK 47 riffles,142 AK 47 riffles ammunition,24 FMC ammunition, 20 GPMG ammunition,4 bullet proof vest and 36 knee guards were recovered.






The Police Boss also said on 14th July,2023, the operatives of the Police Command  acting on credible intelligence of cult activities along  Rumukrushi pipeline, stormed the area but the hoodlums on sighting the Police, took to their heel, where one locally made pistol,2 cartridges were recovered .

 

CP Emeka disclosed that last week Friday at about 12am, Hawk  Police unit got intelligence that hoodlums were carrying out operation where one Victor Monday who specializes in car snatching and 'one' chance robbery was arrested at Azubuike Estate at Okporo,road in Obio/Akpor local government area.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. SP Koko said the missing girl left home on Monday, September 8th,2025. All efforts made to trace her whereabout proved abortive. Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter. When the matter was called for hearing, and the lawyer was not present, the court on inquiry was informed by the litigant that his lawyer died since last year December 2025.
