Police In Rivers State Raid Camp Of A Notorious Cultist, Recover Arms

Police in Rivers State says it raided the camp of General Danger a notorious cultist in Ahoada, neutralized one member of the group and recovered assorted arms and ammunition.


 Commissioner of Police, Nwonyi Emeka in a press briefing at Police headquarters in Port Harcourt said General Danger and Double Chief narrowly escaped .

CP Emeka said one AK 47 riffle,five magazines loaded with 51 live ammunition,GPMG live ammunition,assorted charms were recovered from the camp while efforts are on to arrest the fleeing suspects.




The Commissioner disclosed that operatives of C41 intelligence unit of the command in case of kidnapping and  murder arrested a suspect  that ran to Ogun state after participating in killing of late  justice  Azundah, Protocol officer to  ex Chief of Staff Emeka Woke.

The Police Boss said the suspect  confessed to have collected two  million naira before the victim was murdered.

CP Emeka further stated that on 20th July 2023, members of the same Kidnap  gang engaged the Police in a battle and one  Uchendu Azundah was fatally wounded.

The Commissioner said one pump action gun, 22 live ammunition were recovered from the scene.

In  a related development, C41 intelligence unit of the Police Command  received distress call that armed robbers were operating at Ikwerre road, the unit swung into action recovered a snatched black SUV Jeep and arrested the suspects.

CP Emeka said the suspect confessed to the crime and took Police to their hideout at Igwuruta in IKwerre Local Government Area ,where two suspects were neutralized and later confirmed death at the hospital while one local revolver pistol was recovered.

Explaining further, CP Emeka said on July 15, 2023 personnel of Akpajo Police Division received distress  call that red colour Toyota car with bullet holes was taken to mechanic workshop by hoodlums.

The DPO led men of his Division  to the mechanic workshop and arrested two suspects,one Azuka and  another suspect.


On July 22, operatives of Octopus on follow  up in case of armed robbery at Rumuola, arrested three suspects who took the operatives to their hideout where one revolver pistol, Toyota saloon car, iPhone,techno ,laptop plasma TV were recovered.


CP Emeka stated that officers  of Hunter strike force unit on July 26 while acting on  a tip off arrested one Sunday Sunday,the suspect confessed to have  stolen one boat engine valued at one million and nine hundred thousand naira.

Also operatives of Kpor Division while on visibility division at Khana Local Government Area came in contact with some criminal elements who took to their heels abandoning  a polyethylene bag.

The Commissioner stated that one revolver pistol was recovered.

The police Boss also revealed that today July 27,2023 Ozuoba Police Division  received  calls that armed robbers were operating in a hotel, in the area.

The DPO led other Police officers to the scene where one  Emmanuel Lawson and Anayo were arrested while a Mazda car, a cutter and two ATM card were recovered.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter.
