Obolo Youth Coalition Elect New Leadership

 Obolo Youth Coalition,OYC has elected its new leadership with Emmanuel Essang  emerging as President. 

Speaking after his declaration the new OYC President General Mr. Essang  expressed his resolve to work on the already laid foundation of the Ambassador Mkpon Amon led administration and in the interest of the Youths of Obolo nation.

Speaking further, Mr.Essang  appealed to all those who lost the Elections to partner with his executive Council in the interest of Unity and promised to work with all of them.

Earlier,immediate past President General of OYC, Ambassador Mkpon appreciated the Youths for supporting him throughout his 4-years tenure and solicit their Cooperation for the Essang led new administration.

 Chairman of the electoral committee Darius Polycarp in an interview after the declaration of results commended the 100 delegates who voted at the election for comporting themselves and stressed the need for the youth group to sustain a legacy of peaceful and hitch free  elections. 

Our Correspondent reports that the election which was held at Ngo had delegates drawn from Andoni, Oron, Ibeno and Eastern Obolo local government areas of Rivers and Akwa Ibom States.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. SP Koko said the missing girl left home on Monday, September 8th,2025. All efforts made to trace her whereabout proved abortive.
