Muma Gee To Fish Out Young Talents From Rural Communities In Rivers State

A Port Harcourt based Entertainer High Chief Dr. Muma Gift Eke popularly known as Muma Gee has identified Monitoring and empowering talented young people as a way of taking the Youths off the streets especially in the face of economy meltdown in Nigeria.

Muma Eke who made this submission at a media parley in Port Harcourt on Thursday 7th September 2023 ,observed that youths especially those at the rural communities have a lot of talents that should not be allowed to die.



The entertainer who is in charge of the MUMA GEE Foundation Project and Programme while expressing concern about the failure of government, religious Bodies, companies and some parents to ensure adequate cares for the younger generation, called on Rivers indigenes who are into entertainment to return home to fix the homes rather than remaining in Lagos State. 


The High Chief revealed that the project and programme is targeted at carrying along about fifty rural teenagers between the age of thirteen and above each local government in other to grow Rivers youths.

According to Muma Gee, talent knows no boundaries,as the mission of the foundation is to unearth the talents of children who might never have the chance to showcase their abilities otherwise. 

She said the project, named “African Talent Pool – Rivers Got Talent” will begin its journey by identifying potential talents in the various arts.


The Entertainer further revealed that African Talent Pool will partner the 23 Local Government Chairmen in the state ,each of whom will nominate 52 children of 13 years and above for training program.

 Muma Gee urged Governor Siminalayi Fubara to target human capital development for the interest of the state, since the past administration focused on infrastructure development.

Bille People Appeal To Governor Fubara To Prevail On Alhaji Asari Dokubo To Stop Evasion Of Territory
