SP Bako Killing:Igbu-Akoh Youth Calls For Investigation Of Elites In Ahoada

 Igbu-Akoh Youth Congress has called for the investigation of some politicians,traditional rulers,Youth in Ekpeye ethnic Nationality over the killing of the Divisional Police Officer of Ahoada Police Division, SP Bako Angbashim .

The Public Relations Officer of Igbu-Akoh Youth, Ekeakita Chinem while condemning the killing,  commended  Governor,Siminalayi Fubara for the steps he has taken so far in the case of the killing of SP Bako.

Comrade Chinem alleged that some of the elites in Ekpeye  are working with the gang group that killed SP Bako hence his call to the Governor and other relevant security agencies to extend their investigation to other elites in the area.



He pledged the Igbu-Akoh Youth commitment to synergize with the Police and relevant security agencies to apprehend killers of SP Bako whom he said ensured insecurity reduced drastically since his assumption of office as DPO of Ahoada Police Division.

The Igbu-Akoh Youth Public Relations Officer while condoling with the immediate family of SP Bako,Rivers State Police Command and Nigeria Police prayed God to give them the fortitude to bear the loss.

Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter. When the matter was called for hearing, and the lawyer was not present, the court on inquiry was informed by the litigant that his lawyer died since last year December 2025. The court, presided over by Senior Magistrate Kingsley Briggs became confused and had to search through his record book, where he confirmed the lawyer’s presence during proceeding on Tuesday the 10th day of February, 2026.
