Rivers State House Of Assembly Set On Fire By Suspected Hoodlums

Report says Security Agents have taken over the Rivers State House of Assembly complex following a fire outbreak at the chamber around 10pm on Sunday 29th October 2023.

We gathered that the Federal fire service had earlier put off the fire .

This is coming amidst rumors of an impending impeachment procedure against the state Governor Sim Fubara.

It is unclear if the fire is connected with the rumoured power tussle between the former governor of the state Barrister Nyesom Wike and the present governor Sir Sim Fubara.

Effort to reach Law Makers to confirm the incident prove abortive as of the time of filing this report.
