The Nigerian U-20 women team known as Falconets are through to the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup to be hosted in Colombia later this year.
The Falconets defeated their Burundi U-20 counterpart 2-0 on aggregate to secure one of the four tickets available to teams in African region.
The second tie of Nigerian female football had earlier defeated Burudi U-20 female team 1-0 in Burundi before defeating them again in the return leg in Abuja, Nigeria.
The qualification will make it a record 11th time appearance of the Facolnets in the Women U20 world cup fiestas. Nigeria alongside Brazil, Germany, and United States remain the only countries to have attended all previous 10 editions of the tournament.
