Police In Rivers Rescue Popular hotelier From Kidnappers Den

The Rivers State Police Command has rescued a kidnapped victim who was kidnapped on December 19,2023.

Commissioner of Police,Olatunji Disu,  while briefing Newsmen at the command's Headquarters in Port Harcourt said the victim was a popular hotelier who was shot three times before he was abducted.

CP Disu explained that while on the rescue mission, one of the kidnappers got injured in the course of exchanging gun fire with the police. 

 He further said that the kidnappers collected ransom in food flasks and assured the public that the Police are trailing other members of the gang to arrest them.

Some of the items recovered were one AK 47, two magazines, RX 350 and 330 vehicles.

The victim whose name was withheld for security reasons said he suffered so much and appreciated the police for coming to his rescue.

Bille People Appeal To Governor Fubara To Prevail On Alhaji Asari Dokubo To Stop Evasion Of Territory

Rivers State Government Targets Reduction In Gender Based Violence
