Chief Abraham made the statement in an interview with correspondent Awajis Josiah-Chijindu during the grand finale of the Andoni Carnival at the council Secretariat in Ngo-Town.
Cultural display at Andoni Carnival
According to the chairman, investing on the cultural heritage of the Niger Delta will create economic empowerment to the people thereby reducing unsocial activities in the region.
On his part, the chairman of Andoni Local Government Area, Dr Erastus Awortu stated that the reason the council organized the Carnival is to bring people together and to expose the massive tourism potential of the Andoni people.

Dr. Awortu noted that the tourism exposure will make people to come invest and also live in the area
The Andoni Local Government boss emphasized that Andoni is safe for living and investors, called on people all over the world to come make Andoni their habitat so to enjoy the rich cultural prowess in the area.

On the night, ward One came third, ward Ten amd Eleven took second, while ward Nine went home with the first position for their cultural display.

The night also witnessed the council awarding some illustrious sons and daughters of Andoni for their contributions and selfless service towards the development of the area.
