Police In Rivers State Displays Corpse Of A Notorious Cult Leader 2Baba

Rivers State Police Command has paraded the corpse of most wanted Gift Okpara popularly known as 2Baba who super headed the killing of DPO of Ahoada Police Division SP Bako Angbashim.

 

Briefing Newsmen at the Command's headquarters in Port Harcourt, Commissioner of Police Olatunji Disu said based on credible information, the tactical operatives located the shallow grave where the notorious Iceland cult leader in Ebrass, Ahoada West was buried and recovered the corpse.

 

CP Disu expressed gratitude to everyone who played a part in the operation, particularly the IRT special team.

 

The Rivers State Police Boss while appreciating the State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, for his support throughout the operation, acknowledged the commitment of the Governor in maintaining law and order in the State.

  


CP Disu also expressed his gratitude to the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, for his unwavering support and invaluable advice throughout the operation.

 

The Commissioner of Police urged the public to continue with the provision of timely and accurate information that could aid in identifying and apprehending criminals.

 


CP Disu who assured residents of Rivers State that the Police Command remains committed to the safety and security of the state, noted that officers and men of the Command will continue with operations to apprehend other members of 2Baba's gang and dismantle any remaining criminal networks.
