Finally: Police Gun Down Mgbuoshimini Community Nightmare In A Shrine

The Rivers State Police command has killed a notorious criminal, Peter  Chukwu, popularly known as Daddy Chukwu who has been on the wanted list of the police since 2017 after leading his gang to kill over twenty persons in Mgbuoshimini community Obio-Akpor Local government Area .

 Briefing Newsmen at the Command's headquarters in Port Harcourt, today 11th April 2024, Commissioner of Police, Olatunji Disu  said Daddy Chukwu was killed at his Native Doctor place in Delta State in a joint operation between some police team from Abuja, Delta and Rivers State.
                          Suspects 

CP Disu explained that the suspect and his gang killed the chairman of the Community Development Committee of Mgbuoshimini community inside a church premises and attempted to kill a hotel owner in Port Harcourt.

         Vehicle used for operations 

The commissioner commended the Inspector General of Police, CP Delta State, operatives of Rivers State Police command and residents of the state for their continuous support in bringing peace and assured the commitment of the police in ensuring security of lives and properties.

According to the police Boss, the suspect and his gang members have killed several persons.

Our correspondent reports that five  members of his gang were arrested, some pump action gun, AK47, military and police camouflage were recovered.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. SP Koko said the missing girl left home on Monday, September 8th,2025. All efforts made to trace her whereabout proved abortive. Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter. When the matter was called for hearing, and the lawyer was not present, the court on inquiry was informed by the litigant that his lawyer died since last year December 2025. The court, presided over by Senior Magistrate Kingsley Briggs became confused and had to search through his record book, where he confirmed the lawyer’s presence during proceeding on Tuesday the 10th day of February, 2026.
