A convoy of trucks at the Dangote Refinery have begun lifting Petroleum products today.
The trucks, belonging to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited, NNPCL; were seen in videos posted on the X handle of the Dangote Group.
The loading of the Dangote petrol indicates an end to the month-long debate over the quality and sale of the product.
However, one major issue that remains unresolved is the price at which the NNPCL would sell the product to oil marketers and the public.
Meanwhile, the national oil firm, had earlier in a tweet, noted that hundreds of trucks would be deployed to the refinery today for Petrol loading.
The Federal Government, through the Minister of Finance and the Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, announced in Abuja that the NNPCL would be the sole buyer of petrol from the refinery, adding that the refinery would commence the distribution of petrol to marketers today with an initial twenty-five million litres per day.
