Police Neutralize More Killers Of CDC Chairman Of Mgbuoshimini Community In Rivers State

Rivers State Police Command has arrested four gang members who participated in the Killing of the Community Development Committee, CDC, Chairman of Mgbuoshimini community in Obio Akpor local government area, Chief Ndidi Livingstone on 13th January 2024 at the front of his church in Port Harcourt.

 

 Briefing Newsmen at the Command’s headquarters in Port Harcourt Commissioner of Police, Olatunji Disu recalled that in the operation, four men stormed the church, dragged the victim out and murdered him, in the presence of his wife, son and members of the church.

 

CP Disu stated that the unrelenting manhunt for the perpetrators who were seen shooting and murdering the deceased in the viral video led to the arrest of the three other persons directly responsible for the assassination and six more persons among their criminal network.

The Rivers Police Boss explained that during the investigation, four of the suspects led Operatives to one of their camps at Pipeline, in Aluu community for the recovery of their cache of weapons While approaching the camp, they came under heavy gunfire by hoodlums suspected to be fellow gang members.

 

CP Disu said the suspects attempted to escape in the ensuing ambush but were caught in the crossfire as the hoodlums were overpowered and the suspects rushed to UPTH for medical attention where the Doctor confirmed them dead, and their body deposited in the UPTH morgue for autopsy.


  The suspects will be charged to Court as soon as investigations are concluded.

1 Shotgun riffle

10 magazines

150 rounds of live ammunition and  1 Pistol.

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. SP Koko said the missing girl left home on Monday, September 8th,2025. All efforts made to trace her whereabout proved abortive.
