Briefing Newsmen at the command’s headquarters in Port Harcourt, Commissioner of Police Disu Olatunji revealed that operatives of the Anti-Kidnapping Unit responded to an intelligence report of a criminal operation in Luegbo Community in Khana Local Government Area.
On reaching the scene it was discovered that students of the institution were carrying out the initiation process.
According to the commissioner of police, while carrying out the arrest of the five cultists, the Police encountered a man fully dressed in Police camouflage and donning the rank of an Inspector of Police.
Cp Disu stated that the fake police officer was armed with an AK-47 rifle, ten magazines and twenty-nine rounds of live ammunition.

The Commissioner added that the suspect was taken into custody and after interrogations, his identity was revealed as Fred Monday, a 31year-old from Wiyakara Community in Khana Local Government Area of the State.
Similarly, operatives of the IGP Special Task Force on Petroleum and Illegal Bunkering, IGP-STFPIB; have burst an illegal oil bunkering site in Port Harcourt.
According to Public Relation Officer, Force Headquarters Abuja, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi stated that the discovery was made after the operatives, in collaboration with the department of operations, Rivers State Command, discovered a storage facility in Trans Amadi used in dealing and processing illegally acquired Crude oil.
The Force PRO noted that the operation led to the arrest of four suspects, Mr. Emmanuel Nwachi, Mr. Adamu Bala, Mr. Nura Musa and Mr. Bashir Abubakar and the recovery of 40,000 Litres of petroleum products, stored in sixty seven white storage tanks.

According to the statement, the team destroyed the site and recovered the equipment and machines used in committing the crimes.
Meanwhile the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has reemphasize the commitment of the Force in tackling every form of criminality and corruption.
