Royal Endorsement: Oba Of Ogba Land Urges ONELGA Chairman To Lead With Integrity

The Oba, Eze Ogba of Ogbaland, His Eminence, Sir Nwachukwu Obuoha Nnam Obi 111 has called on political leaders to chart the desired leadership and be accountable to the people.

The Oba of Ogbaland stated this, when the Executive Chairman of Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Local Government Council, Hon. Prince Isaac Umejuru led officials of the Council on a courtesy/familiarization visit  to the Palace of the Oba of Ogbaland.

Oba Nwachukwu Obuoha Nnam-Obi 111, advised  the ONELGA Boss to lead by example for others to follow, adding that he should ensure that the indigenes of ONELGA enjoy the dividends of democracy in his administration.

"You will be held accountable, our Local Government is tired of being backward. We should be at the forefront exemplifying what it takes to lead at that level", the Oba noted.


The King of Ogbaland, who bestowed his blessings on the ONELGA Chairman, Prince Isaac Umejuru,  also urged him to be weary of every form of distraction that would negatively affect his performance in office.

The Oba advised the new Chairman of Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni LGA, Prince Isaac Umejuru to build and maintain cordial relationships with the legislative arm, his aides and staff of the Council to have a seamless administration, noting that, when he is at peace with the people, developmental  projects and programmes would be easier to execute for the Interest and well-being of the generality of the people of ONELGA.

In the meantime, the Chairman of ONELGA, Prince Isaac Umejuru while speaking to newsmen, shortly after the visit, assured that he would prioritize and improve on the existing peace in the LGA.

He asked for cooperation of the people to enable his administration deliver dividends of Democracy.

Bille People Appeal To Governor Fubara To Prevail On Alhaji Asari Dokubo To Stop Evasion Of Territory
