Andoni Sole Administrator Urges Forgiveness, Reconciliation In Ikuru Community Dispute

 


As part of efforts to promote peace, unity and peaceful co-existence, the Andoni Sole Administrator, Atajit Francis has held a reconciliatory meeting with community members and stakeholders in Ikuru town.

The meeting which is aimed at resolving the lingering disputes, enhance sustainable peace and facilitate the return of the community's paramount ruler was attended by traditional rulers, youths, women , security personnel as well  as other leaders of the community.

Speaking during an enlarged reconciliatory engagement meeting, the Andoni Sole Administrator,  emphasized the importance of living in peace and harmony among members and the need to forgive one another for the betterment and development of the community, stating that "two wrongs cannot make a right." 

Atajit Francis urged the community members to display sportsmanship and maturity by allowing their paramount ruler return and resume his responsibility as the custodian of the culture and tradition of the community 


The ANOLGA Sole Administrator appealed to them to sheath their sword, make sacrifice and embrace the peace move wholeheartedly , adding that their paramount ruler is willing to make amends and work together with the community,.

He further assured that his administration remain committed with stakeholders to achieving lasting peace in the community.

Speakers at the meeting all expressed their grievances and promise the Andoni Sole administrator of their willingness to accept peace for the interest of the socio-economic development of the community.

In his vote of thanks, One of the Stakeholders of the community, Elder Simon Beresford expressed gratitude to the Sole Administrator for his peace effort, acknowledging that development cannot thrive in an atmosphere of rancour and acrimony.

Elder Beresford who noted that the peace move by the Sole Administrator, Atajit Francis is an attestation of his commitment to the development of Andoni and it's citizens and sued for a genuine reconciliation between members of the community and the paramount ruler for the benefit of the community.

Bille People Appeal To Governor Fubara To Prevail On Alhaji Asari Dokubo To Stop Evasion Of Territory
