The Rivers State Civil Liberties Organization (CLO),has on Friday, May 9, 2025,conducted its internal elections, ushering in a new set of executives to steer the affairs of the organization in the state.
The newly elected officers are:
Comrade Sunny Dada – Chairman
Comrade Sunny Johnson – Vice Chairman
Comrade (Dr) Christian Onyegule – Secretary
Comrade Samuel Robinson – Treasurer
Comrade Sammy Eke – Ex-Officio
The election, which took place in Port Harcourt, was conducted in a peaceful and democratic atmosphere, reflecting CLO’s continued commitment to internal democracy, transparency, and strong leadership in the defense of human rights and civil liberties.
In his speech, the newly elected Chairman, Comrade Sunny Dada, expressed appreciation to members for their trust and pledged to work collaboratively with the team to advance the mission of the CLO in the State.
