Rivers:School Principal Burns 14 Year Old Female Student With Hot Pressing Iron

Rivers State Police command is in search of the Principal of Christ Ambassadors Mission International School located at Eagle Island in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State who is at large for burning a fourteen year old girl with hot iron.

The story went that residents of Amazing grace junction at Eagle Island, who saw the body of the teenager interrogated how she sustained the burns on her body, to which the teenage girl revealed that her Aunty reported her to the school alleging that she stole 30,000 naira, an allegation the teenage girl denied.

The residents sitting  the girl's aunty walking out intercepted and held her to ascertain the truth of the revelation.

An eye witness, a human rights Advocate and National Coordinator Centre for Basic Rights Protection And Accountability Campaign, Prince Wiro who rushed to the scene of the incidence after receiving a distress call from one of the residents stated that on getting to the scene, police were already there to intervene.

 "Upon my arrival at the scene, Police operatives were at the scene already with large angry crowd who wanted to beat up the  aunty of the teenage girl, So i pleaded with them to hand over the suspect and the child to the Police, that I will go with them to the station, which I did. At the Police Station, the child said it was the school principal, one Priscilla in company of another teacher who used hot pressing Iron to burn her, that she should confess to stealing the 30,000 naira, her aunty said was missing" Mr. Wiro stated.

The human rights advocate who condemned the act stated that  the Proprietor and Proprietress of Christ Ambassadors Mission International School have been interrogated by the police in Rivers State over the burning of the teenage girl aged fourteen with hot pressing Iron allegedly by the Principal of the school in their school.

"The proprietor and proprietress of the school were invited and were being questioned by the Police as at the time I was leaving the Police station. I condemn the torture on the teenage girl and call for thorough investigation by the Police, whosoever that is culpable in the course of investigation should face the law. It is man's inhumanity to man" Mr. Wiro said 

As of the time of filing this report, the female Principal has not been seen and Police are yet to confirm the incident.
