65TH Independence Anniversary Day Message: APGA National Chairman

As Nigeria marks its 65th Independence Day, Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has issued a heartfelt message to the party faithful and to all Nigerians across the nation.

 In his statement, he emphasized the importance of brotherhood, collective responsibility, and unwavering commitment to building a sound and progressive nation for both present and future generations.

A Reflection on Nigeria’s Journey and a Call for Unity
In his Independence Day message, Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa reflected on Nigeria’s remarkable journey since independence, acknowledging the resilience and diversity that define the nation. 

He urged Nigerians to celebrate the unity in diversity, recognizing that our strength lies in embracing our collective identity and shared aspirations.

Brotherhood and Collective Responsibility
He highlighted that independence is not merely a celebration of political freedom but also an occasion to reaffirm our duty to one another as brothers and sisters. “We must be our brothers’ keeper,” he said, emphasizing that caring for one another—especially the vulnerable and marginalized—is fundamental to fostering social cohesion and national unity.


Vision for a Sound and Progressive Nigeria
Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa called on Nigerians to work together to ensure a Nigeria that is sound, stable, and progressive. He stressed that the journey toward a prosperous nation requires the collective effort of leaders and citizens alike. “Our unity, peace, and shared vision are the pillars upon which Nigeria’s future rests,” he stated.

Peace and Unity: To foster an environment where every citizen can thrive.

A Call to Action
Concluding his message, Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa appealed to all Nigerians to renew their commitment to nation-building. “Let us resolve to be our brothers’ keeper, to build bridges of understanding, and to work tirelessly for a Nigeria where everyone has equal opportunities to succeed,” he said.

He expressed optimism that, with collective effort and unwavering patriotism, Nigeria can realize its full potential and become a beacon of progress and unity in Africa and the world.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. SP Koko said the missing girl left home on Monday, September 8th,2025. All efforts made to trace her whereabout proved abortive. Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter. When the matter was called for hearing, and the lawyer was not present, the court on inquiry was informed by the litigant that his lawyer died since last year December 2025. The court, presided over by Senior Magistrate Kingsley Briggs became confused and had to search through his record book, where he confirmed the lawyer’s presence during proceeding on Tuesday the 10th day of February, 2026.
