OPINION - APGA National Chairman Joins Governor Soludo In Official Presentation Of Certificate Of Return

  In a significant display of unity and support, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, accompanied Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, to the INEC office in Awka for the formal presentation of Certificates of Return. 

The occasion marked a pivotal moment in the aftermath of the recent Anambra Governorship election, where Governor Soludo and his Deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, secured their mandates with a decisive electoral victory.

The presentation ceremony was conducted at the INEC State Office in Awka, where the Certificates of Return were officially handed over by the INEC National Commissioner responsible for Anambra State, Dr. Ken Ukeagu, alongside the Resident Electoral Commissioner, 
Dr. Mrs. Queen Elizabeth Agwu. The event underscored the transparency and credibility of the electoral process, reinforcing public confidence in the democratic system.



During the ceremony, Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa extended his heartfelt congratulations to Governor Soludo and Deputy Governor Ibezim, emphasizing that their re-election is a testament to the widespread trust and support of the people of Anambra State. 

He praised their unwavering commitment to purposeful leadership and developmental vision, which continues to propel the state toward sustainable growth and prosperity.
In his remarks, Ezeokenwa commended INEC for its professionalism and meticulous organization in conducting the election, which he described as free, fair, and credible. 

He reaffirmed APGA’s unwavering support for Governor Soludo’s administration, particularly as it advances the “Solution Agenda”—a strategic initiative aimed at consolidating previous achievements, fostering economic growth, and improving the living standards of Ndi Anambra

Governor Soludo expressed profound gratitude to the people of Anambra for their overwhelming support and renewed confidence in his leadership. 

He reaffirmed his commitment to ongoing reforms that prioritize the welfare of citizens, enhance infrastructural development, and promote inclusive growth across the state. 


The Governor assured that his administration would continue to work diligently to deliver on its promises and sustain the momentum of positive change.

This event not only highlights the democratic process but also signifies a shared vision among political leaders and stakeholders committed to the progress and development of Anambra State.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. SP Koko said the missing girl left home on Monday, September 8th,2025. All efforts made to trace her whereabout proved abortive. Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter. When the matter was called for hearing, and the lawyer was not present, the court on inquiry was informed by the litigant that his lawyer died since last year December 2025. The court, presided over by Senior Magistrate Kingsley Briggs became confused and had to search through his record book, where he confirmed the lawyer’s presence during proceeding on Tuesday the 10th day of February, 2026.
