OPINION - APGA National Chairman Congratulates Governor Soludo Appreciate NDI Anambra For Reaffirming Support

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, on his resounding victory in the just-concluded Anambra Governorship Election held on November 8, 2025. He also expressed profound gratitude to Ndi Anambra for once again placing their trust and confidence in the party’s leadership.

Barrister Ezeokenwa described the electoral triumph as a clear affirmation of the people’s unwavering faith in Governor Soludo’s visionary leadership and the transformative governance model that has significantly altered Anambra’s developmental landscape. He noted that securing victory across all local government areas and nearly all of the 326 electoral wards mark the highest electoral achievement recorded by APGA since its inception in 2002.

 This feat underscores the deep-rooted belief of Ndi Anambra in the party’s ideology of good governance, equity, and sustainable progress.

He lauded Ndi Anambra for their patience, resilience, and active participation in the democratic process, and also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for ensuring a free, fair, and transparent electoral process, refraining from interference and upholding the integrity of the election.


Barrister Ezeokenwa extended his congratulations to Professor Soludo, describing him as the greatest asset of APGA. He commended the Governor for delivering an unprecedented performance in the history of Anambra State—embodying the principles of progress, innovation, and responsible leadership that the party stands for. He emphasized that Soludo’s leadership is pivotal to the continued growth, unity, and trust in APGA.

Furthermore, the National Chairman commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting a credible and peaceful election, as well as the security agencies for maintaining peace and order throughout the electoral process. 

He also expressed appreciation to the media, election observers, and all party faithful across wards and local governments for their resilience and unwavering commitment during the campaign and voting periods.

Ezeokenwa reaffirmed APGA’s dedication to deepening democracy, promoting good governance, and ensuring that the mandate freely given to Governor Soludo translates into more tangible developmental achievements that will uplift every corner of Anambra.

He concluded by dedicating the electoral victory to the collective spirit of Ndi Anambra and called on all citizens, regardless of political inclination, to unite in supporting Governor Soludo’s efforts in building the Anambra of our dreams.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. SP Koko said the missing girl left home on Monday, September 8th,2025. All efforts made to trace her whereabout proved abortive. Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter. When the matter was called for hearing, and the lawyer was not present, the court on inquiry was informed by the litigant that his lawyer died since last year December 2025. The court, presided over by Senior Magistrate Kingsley Briggs became confused and had to search through his record book, where he confirmed the lawyer’s presence during proceeding on Tuesday the 10th day of February, 2026.
