First Female Professor of Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment in Africa Receives Integrity Award

A recipient of the integrity award of the Nigeria Association of Christian Journalists, NACJ, Professor Cynthia Obiorah has described the award bestowed on her as one of great honour and privilege.
Professor Obiorah who spoke after receiving the Integrity Woman and Philanthropist of the Year award, said integrity is not just a word but a daily choice and lifestyle.

While dedicating the award to persons who uphold integrity, Professor Obiorah who is also the first Female Professor of Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment in Africa described Christian Journalists as men and women who uphold truth, justice, and moral clarity.

Professor Obiorah congratulated her husband, Professor Christopher Obiorah who is the Chief Consultant Pathologist and Director of Cancer Registry at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital who was also a recipient of the award.
Professor Cynthia Obiorah stressed that the award is a spur for her to do more for a better society.
