MAY 1ST: Warm May Day Wishes To All Nigerian Workers - Goodwill Message From National Chairman All Progressives Grand Alliance

On this special occasion of the 2026 Workers Day celebration, The APGA National Chairman, Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa extends his warmest greetings and heartfelt appreciation to all Nigerian workers whose dedication, resilience, and unwavering commitment continue to drive the progress of our great nation.

May 1st stands as a powerful reminder of the dignity of labour and the indispensable role workers play in nation-building. Across every sector public and private, formal and informal Nigerian workers remain the backbone of our economy, the engine of development, and the true strength of our democracy.


As we celebrate this years Workers Day, Bar. Ezeokenwa commends their sacrifices, perseverance in the face of economic challenges, and daily contributions toward national growth and stability. Their hard work remains the foundation upon which a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria can be built.

He encouraged all workers to remain steadfast, committed, and hopeful as we collectively pursue greater productivity, improved service delivery, and a more inclusive national development agenda. Greater and more effective output from our workforce will undoubtedly translate into a greater nation for all.

Beyond their professional contributions, Barr. Ezeokenwa also urge Nigerian workers to remain actively involved in all electoral 
processes. Democracy thrives when responsible citizens participate fully in shaping leadership and governance. He emphasized and I quote “Your voice, your vote, and your civic responsibility are powerful tools for securing accountable leadership and sustainable national progress.”


Political participation must not be left to a few. Workers, as critical stakeholders in the nations future, must continue to stand for justice, transparency, and credible leadership that reflects the true mandate of the people.

As National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Bar. Sly reaffirmed APGA’s commitment to policies and leadership that prioritize the welfare of workers, strengthen democratic values, and promote national prosperity.

May this Workers Day inspire renewed strength, fresh opportunities, and greater achievements for every Nigerian worker.

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages. SP Koko said the missing girl left home on Monday, September 8th,2025. All efforts made to trace her whereabout proved abortive. Ghost Lawyer Defends Client in Port Harcourt Court

  A magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt was thrown into confusion today Thursday, the 12th of March, 2026 when it noticed that a lawyer who had died since last year, 2025 December appeared before it on Tuesday the 10th of February, 2026 to conduct his matter. When the matter was called for hearing, and the lawyer was not present, the court on inquiry was informed by the litigant that his lawyer died since last year December 2025. The court, presided over by Senior Magistrate Kingsley Briggs became confused and had to search through his record book, where he confirmed the lawyer’s presence during proceeding on Tuesday the 10th day of February, 2026. The Senior Magistrate informed the litigant on how the court had wanted to issue a bench warrant against him if not for the intervention of his lawyer who pleaded that he the litigant was sick and needed medical attention.
